App Sync is the bridge between this site and the Companion mobile app. Load your Enshrouded save above and see how far you've come - quests completed, lore books collected, survivors rescued, and discoveries made - then push it to the app two ways: sync your progress snapshot so your checklists stay in step, or sync your world save so the app's Chest Finder can search its chests.
It reads the same KSC1 save format the game writes, so progress is computed from your real save state - not a manual checklist you have to maintain yourself.
The save shelf at the bottom of every page holds up to three world-save and character-file pairs. Upload once and the same files power the Chest Finder, the Skill Tree Planner and this App Sync page - no re-uploading per tool.
Save parsing happens entirely in your browser. Your world save and character file are cached only in your own browser storage and are never uploaded anywhere unless you explicitly press a Sync button. Sync progress sends only an encrypted progress summary - completed quests, found lore, rescued survivors - to your account; your raw files are not uploaded. Sync world save uploads your world save to your account so the app's Chest Finder can pull it, and it is deleted from our servers the moment the app downloads it. Your character file is never uploaded.
The world save alone gives you world-level discoveries. Quest, lore and survivor tracking is computed from the knowledge state stored in your character file, so add both to the shelf slot for the full picture.
On Windows they live under %LocalAppData%\Enshrouded\Saves. Each world has a world save and a separate character file.
No. The progress breakdown is shown right in the browser for free. Syncing is optional and only needed if you want the numbers to appear inside the Companion mobile app.
