A free mod for Enshrouded - building helpers,
creative mods, the Prop Swapper, material
overrides, map reveal and more. No Cheat Engine
needed, just a panel of on/off toggles.

============================================================

WHAT'S IN THIS FOLDER
------------------------------------------------------------

EmbervaleToolkit.exe This is everything - the control panel
AND the mod are bundled in this one file.
Run it, click Install, and it sets the
mod up for you. There is nothing else to
                          copy or keep track of.

SETUP (ONE TIME)
------------------------------------------------------------

   1. Close Enshrouded if it is running.

   2. Run EmbervaleToolkit.exe. A short supporter screen
shows first - this mod is free, so just click Continue
      after the brief countdown.

   3. Click "Install mod". If it cannot find your game,
click "Locate game..." and point it at enshrouded.exe.

   4. Launch Enshrouded and load into a world.

   5. Back in the panel, the mod list lights up. Tick what
you want - changes apply instantly in-game. Everything
is controlled from the panel; there are no in-game
      hotkeys to remember.

BACK UP YOUR SAVES FIRST
------------------------------------------------------------

Some mods change your world, and one of them (Reveal
Full Map) makes a change that CANNOT be undone once the
game saves. Before using them, copy your save folder
   somewhere safe:

      %USERPROFILE%\Saved Games\Enshrouded\

Paste that into the File Explorer address bar, then copy
the whole "Enshrouded" folder somewhere safe. To restore,
close the game and copy your backup back over it.

THE PROP SWAPPER
------------------------------------------------------------

Craft a simple placeholder prop and it becomes a real,
working, permanent version of almost anything in the game.
Not a decoration and not a ghost - an actual working
object that saves with your world and is still there when
   you log back in.

Open the Prop Swapper tab, search the list, pick what you
want to place and what you want to craft, then arm it.
Craft the placeholder in-game and place it as normal.

The picker window now opens where you last left it, on
whichever monitor you left it on, and it keeps whatever you
typed into the search boxes. It also stays open after you
set a pair, so you can line up one prop after another and
close it when you are done.

It remembers the item you picked to craft as well. That
used to jump back to the Wooden Cup every time you chose
something new on the left, which was annoying if you had
picked something else on purpose, and worse if you had real
Wooden Cups standing around your base, because those got
swapped too. Whatever you choose now stays chosen, this
   session and the next.

There are 8,307 objects to choose from, read straight out
of the game's own files: crafting stations, gem forges,
altars, traps, chests, signs, the old wooden beams and
support arcs, and thousands of decorations. Nothing the
game has a model for is held back from you any more.

Enemies, NPCs, animals and item models are in the list too,
tagged [Enemy], [NPC], [Animal] and [Model] so you can see
what you are picking. They are hit and miss - some just
stand there doing nothing, and some may crash the game - and
the toolkit says so when you select one. The game's raw
engine pieces are in there as well, tagged [Raw].

The checkbox at the bottom left adds one last group: the
2,438 things the game ships no model for. You can place them,
but there is nothing to draw, so you get no hologram while
you position it, nothing in the 3D preview, and most likely
nothing you can see afterwards. They are listed so nothing
is hidden from you, and tagged [No model] so you know what
   you are getting.

BLOCK & TERRAIN MATERIAL OVERRIDE
------------------------------------------------------------

Build with any material in the game, not just the ones you
can craft. Whatever block or terrain you place comes out as
the material you picked, no matter what you are holding.

Find "Block Material Override" in the Building & Crafting
tab. It has two pickers, one for blocks and one for terrain,
each with a searchable list of every material the game has:
198 of them, read straight out of the game's own files.
Choose a block, choose a terrain, tick the toggle, and build
as normal. Like the Prop Swapper picker, it opens where you
last left it and keeps your search text.

The two are independent. Pick only a block and your terrain
still places normally, and the other way round. "Stop
overriding" in a picker clears that one and lets that
   material through untouched.

Two things to know before you build:

     - The placement preview still shows the material of the
item in your hand. The real material only appears once
       the block lands.

     - Some of the materials are world and dungeon materials
that the game never meant you to have. A few of those
cannot be mined back out once you place them, so put
them down where you actually want them. 31 materials
have no in-game name at all and are listed by their
       number.

MODS
------------------------------------------------------------

Tick any mod to turn it on - changes apply live while
you play. Some are sliders: tick them on, then drag to
   taste.

   BUILDING & CRAFTING

   Infinite Building
Building blocks and materials don't deplete as you
       place them.

   Block Material Override
Place any block or terrain and it comes out as the
material you picked. See the section above.

   Free Crafting
Craft without using up the materials, including
       leveling your flame altar.

   Build Flight
Lift off and build wherever you like.

   Build in Fog
       Build inside the shroud.

   Build in Crypts
       Build inside dungeons and crypts.

   Demolish Anything
Remove blocks and terrain the game normally won't let
       you break.

   Rapid Crop Growth
Crops and plants grow much faster.

   SURVIVAL

   No Fall Damage
Falling never hurts you, no matter the height.

   Infinite Stamina
       Your stamina never drains.

   Infinite Mana
       Your mana never drains.

   Fast Health Regen
You heal so fast that most damage is undone almost
instantly. Note: this needs your character to already
have some health regeneration - on a build with none,
       use No Enemy Damage instead.

   Fast Mana Regen
Your mana refills so fast it stays effectively full
while casting. Like Fast Health Regen, this needs your
character to already have some mana regeneration.

   Infinite Underwater Breath
Never run out of air underwater.

   Infinite Weapon Durability
       Weapons never wear down.

   Infinite Frost Timer
The cold never gets to you.

   COMBAT

   No Enemy Damage
Enemy and combat hits no longer hurt you. Enemies still
take damage from you and die normally - only your health
is protected. (This is the closest thing to god-mode.)

   One-Shot Enemies + Objects
Everything dies or breaks in a single hit.

   Damage Multiplier (slider)
Multiplies the damage you deal (3x to start, up to 10x,
or drag it below 1x for a harder game). Damage you TAKE
       is never changed.
The damage number that pops up when you hit something
still shows the normal amount - that is expected and does
not mean it stopped working. Watch the health bar instead
and you will see it drop much faster. The number is drawn
earlier in the game's code than the point this mod works
at, so it never sees the multiplier.
Right after turning it on, take a little damage and let
your health tick back up once - that heal is what tells
the mod which health bar is yours. Until then everything
       takes normal damage.
It scales every hit on anything that is not you, so that
also covers rocks and trees, enemies hitting each other,
villagers and tamed animals, and other players in co-op.
Turning it on switches off No Enemy Damage and One-Shot,
because all three use the same spot in the game.

   GLIDER

   Infinite Flying
Angle the glider upward and actually fly / climb.

   Glider Move Speed (slider)
   Glider Lift Speed (slider)
   Glider Descend Speed (slider)
   Glider Turn Speed (slider)
Full control over how the glider handles.

   WORLD & EXPLORATION

   Movement Speed (slider)
Run as fast as you like.

   Gravity (slider)
Turn gravity down for big jumps, or up if you prefer.

   Walk in Air
       Walk on nothing at all.

   Set Time of Day (slider)
Tick it on, then drag the slider to set the in-game
time of day (around the middle is midday). Untick it
to let time run normally again.

   Flat Ambient Light
       Brightens up dark caves.

   No Shroud Countdown
No shroud damage and no countdown timer.

   Disable Shroud Fog (visual only)
Turns off the thick shroud fog so you can actually see
inside shroud areas. This only changes what you SEE -
the shroud still drains your shroud timer and it can
still kill you. Pair it with No Shroud Countdown above
if you want to wander around in there safely.

   Cross the Early Access Bounds
Removes the "turn back now" barrier at the edge of the
map, so you can keep going instead of being sent back.

Reveal Full Map (fog of war)
Clears the black / unexplored areas of the in-game
map. This is PERMANENT once the game saves, so the
panel asks you to confirm. Back up your save first.

   Panic: disable everything
One click turns it all back off and puts the game
       back exactly as it was.

A greyed-out mod means its signature was not found in
your game version (usually right after a game update). It
comes back once the mod is refreshed for the new version.

SHROUD SYNC (supporter perk)
------------------------------------------------------------

Shroud Sync quietly uploads your freshest save to the
cloud in the background while you play, so the Companion
app always shows your live progress and can render your
actual base in 3D. No manual file uploading. It keeps
running in the system tray after you close the window.

Because of that the toolkit can look closed when it is
really still there, so opening it again just brings that
window back instead of starting a second copy. You will
never end up with a pile of toolkit windows. To close it
for good, right-click its icon in the notification area
(the ^ arrow next to the clock) and choose Quit.

This one is for Patreon supporters. Everything else in
   this toolkit is free.

      https://www.patreon.com/grannymaster

Linking your Patreon account in the panel ("I'm already a
patron") also removes the supporter screen for good.

GAME MODS (the "Game Mods" tab)
------------------------------------------------------------

Everything else in the toolkit works while the game is
running and stops the moment you switch it off. The mods on
this tab are different: they change the game's own files, so
they are simply part of your game every time you play, with
   or without the toolkit open.

There are six right now, in two groups. The first three are
ordinary settings you leave on. The three under Cleanup are
tools you switch on to get rid of something, then switch off
again - see below for why that matters.

Bigger Stacks Every stackable item carries five
times as much (up to 9999). Weapons,
armour and tools are left alone.

More Flame Altars Every Flame Altar claims a base, and
the game normally lets you keep ten of
them once your Flame is fully
                            strengthened. This raises that to
                            fifty. Strengthening the Flame still
raises the limit step by step. A world
with dozens of bases saves a lot more
data, so expect a bigger save file.

Enemy Persistence Creatures you place with the Prop
                            Swapper normally vanish when you
restart. This keeps them, with their
health, so you can post guard wolves
at your gate or build a camp of your
                            own.

It applies to every enemy of that
kind, not only the ones you placed, so
camps you never cleared can fill up
the more you reload. Do not place a
unique boss while the original is
                            still alive.

CLEANUP (turn on, clear, turn off)

These three exist for one job: getting rid of something the
game will not let you remove. They are worth understanding
      before you leave one running.

The game does not record which props you placed or which
blocks you put down. So there is no way to say "let me
break this one stuck thing" - it can only say "let anyone
break every thing of that kind, anywhere in the world".
That is fine for the minute it takes to clear a mistake,
and it is not what you want as a permanent setting.

So: switch one on, clear the thing, switch it off. Nothing
you already removed comes back, and everything else goes
      straight back to normal.

Dismantle Anything Some props can never be picked up once
you place them, so one wrong placement
is stuck in your base forever. The 24m
                            Ancient doorframe, the Ancients Night
Door and the Ancient wall spikes are
the ones people hit first, and there
are about a thousand more. This gives
every prop, door and gate the ordinary
dismantle prompt. It also gives the
invisible ones, the props that ship
with no collision at all, a body you
can actually aim at and hit.

It promises removal, not a refund.
Check what actually lands in your bag
before you tear down something you
                            spent real materials on.

                            Survivors, farm animals, Flame Altars
and your death tombstone are left
alone on purpose, because removing one
of those takes something with it that
                            you cannot get back.

Mine Anything Ten block and terrain materials are
                            marked unbreakable, lava among them,
and a pickaxe does nothing to them.
This makes all ten come out like dirt.

It covers the whole world, not just
the blocks you placed, so the sealed
dungeon walls and the bedrock at the
bottom of the world go too. You can
dig through the world floor by
accident. Turn it on, clear what you
want gone, then turn it off again.

Clean Up A last resort for the placeholder
Placeholder Props props that Dismantle Anything cannot
fix, the ones built too small to fit a
collision shape inside. The game stops
saving them, so they disappear the
                            next time your world loads.

There is no undo once a world has
loaded without them. Turn it on, load
your world once, then turn it off.

   HOW TO USE IT

      1. Close Enshrouded. These change files on disk, so the
         game has to be shut.

      2. Open the Game Mods tab and click the switch.
         It takes about 15 seconds.

      3. Start the game. That's it.

Switching it back off puts everything back exactly as it
was. You can flip them on and off as often as you like.

IF YOU USE ANOTHER MOD LOADER

Some Enshrouded mods need a file called dbghelp.dll in
your game folder. That file rewrites the game's data every
single time the game starts, which wipes out anything you
install here and can leave the game refusing to start.

Only one of the two can look after your game files, so the
toolkit will spot it and offer to turn it off for you. It
is only renamed, and there is a button on the same tab to
switch it back whenever you want your other mods again.

   IF SOMETHING GOES WRONG

      Steam -> right-click Enshrouded -> Properties ->
Installed Files -> Verify integrity of game files puts
your game back to stock. Nothing here can hurt your saves.

MOD CREATOR (the "Mod Creator" tab)
------------------------------------------------------------

The mods on the Game Mods tab are ones I wrote. This tab
lets you write your own, without a modding tool or a line
   of code.

Pick something in the game - an item, a perk, a balancing
setting - pick one of its values, and say what it should
become. You are shown how many things the change would
affect and a few worked examples before anything is
   written to disk.

Your mod then sits on the same list as ours, installs with
the same switch, and switching it off puts your game back
   the same way.

Values are addressed by name, so a mod you save keeps
working after a game update rather than writing to
whatever now sits at an old address. Some values are
   hidden because the game hides them from its own editors;
there is a switch to show those too if you need them.

THE COMPANION APP
------------------------------------------------------------

The toolkit is one piece of a bigger Enshrouded project:
a free companion app for Android and iOS with an
interactive map, skill planner, item and crafting
database, bestiary, quests, lore and collections, all
pulled from the game's own files in 15 languages.

      App: https://enshrouded.gamevault.in
      Web tools: https://app.gamevault.in
      Mod page: https://gamevault.in/mod/

MULTIPLAYER
------------------------------------------------------------

Single-player and worlds you host yourself. Do not use
this on official or dedicated servers - a modified client
   may be rejected or flagged.

ANTIVIRUS NOTE
------------------------------------------------------------

Mods that change a game in memory often get flagged by
Windows Defender or antivirus. This tool only changes
Enshrouded in RAM while you play - it never touches your
game files. If Defender quarantines it, restore it and/or
add an exclusion for this folder.

UPDATES
------------------------------------------------------------

On launch the app quietly checks for a newer version and,
if there is one, the download panel highlights it. You are
   never forced to update.

To update: download the new EmbervaleToolkit.exe, replace
the old one, and run it (with the game closed). It refreshes
the installed mod automatically to match - then just restart
Enshrouded so the game loads the new version. You do NOT need
   to uninstall and reinstall.

REMOVING IT
------------------------------------------------------------

Run the panel with the game closed and click "Uninstall
mod" - that deletes winmm.dll from your game folder. As a
fallback, Steam -> Enshrouded -> Properties -> Installed
Files -> Verify will also restore everything.

Note: the toolkit installs itself as a winmm.dll proxy. If
another mod does the same, only one of the two can be
   installed at a time.

DISCLAIMER

at your own risk. The maker is NOT responsible for any
data loss, corrupted or lost saves, account bans, or any
